Hey! I’m Alex. I’m husband to Ruth, father to Alannah and Millie. I’m a passionate Everton fan and devout Christian.

From a young age I have always loved being in or around water. In my youth I was a competitive swimmer (a path Alannah followed). As life and commitments increased I moved onto kayaking and paddleboarding.

For me, being on (and often in) water is such a positive source of joy. It enables me to switch off from the many pressures of life and to escape the stranglehold of technology and social media. It’s quite simply freedom.
